When it’s quiet, Tucson is magical

Yesterday we were privileged to eavesdrop on a family of Harris hawks perched on the telephone pole in front of our house. We could actually hear their soft vocalizations.

For once there were no jets, helicopters, trains, sirens, motorcycles or cars without mufflers. This is part of a priceless heritage that we can not squander.

Tucson can host quieter missions than the F-35.
