To those who say the F-35 is the sound of freedom, I say it is the sound of an arrogant nation that still thinks force is the best defense from those who threaten us. If only our might could be surpassed by the wisdom to coexist with and even learn from the ideologies of our perceived enemies, then we might never need such death machines.
